This Week’s Gospel
Last Sunday we celebrated, along with our whole Church, the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus. It is a time for us to give thanks to God for dwelling within us and for being part of the gift of a community of faith. We are also called to mission at this time - our mission is to ‘glorify the Lord by our lives’. If we are all able to do this, then our world will be filled by His living and loving presence.
On Wednesday, we celebrated our Easter Mass as a whole school community. It was a wonderful Eucharistic celebration that epitomised the true joy of the Easter season. Father Henry also reminded us and inspired us to live out our true mission as we left the church.
As we come to the end of a wonderful, life giving, first term of school for 2024, I can’t help but reflect on our school’s vision, which is:
In the spirit of the Holy Family, the values of Benedictine tradition and through the legacy of the Good Samaritan Sisters, our vision is to be: A welcoming Catholic school community that endeavours to bear Christ to all.
As I reflect upon our vision and think about the relationships developed throughout this term, between students and teachers, parents and staff, our school and our parish, I believe that we are really striving to bring this to life.
We have had many wonderful events throughout our first term, most notably our Harmony Day assembly, our Holy Week Liturgy and our Easter Mass. Each of our events, whether, academic, sporting, or faith based have reminded me that the Holy Family spirit is certainly alive and well in our community!
I wish you all a wonderful school holiday period with your beautiful children.
For all things at Holy Family, give thanks!
Mrs Amy Smith
Principal

Online Enrolments - 2024

Please take note, particularly for sibling applications. The online application form is accessible from the home page of our school website.
