On the 28th of August, students from all across the diocese participated in the Soccer Gala Day. Holy Family students from years 3 to 6 went and played 6 games each, there were about 9 people on the field and 15 in each age group. Unfortunately, due to the strong winds, 2 of the games were sadly cancelled. But, that still didn’t stop the students from showing great sportsmanship and teamwork in each game and to the opponents. The Soccer Gala Day was a fun, special day for those who enjoy soccer and like competing against other schools. It was a very fun time and students would definitely love to play again.
