Appin Massacre

The Appin Massacre occurred on 17th April 1816 and this year marks the 209th Anniversary. A memorial service will be held on Sunday 13 April 2025 at Cataract Dam from 11:00 am – 3:30 pm, with a free sausage sizzle.  Community members are invited to this event.
